Study Abroad
UPDATED 04/15/21
Cornell University has not yet made any decisions regarding international travel and study abroad for the 2021-22 academic year. Although we have moved forward with accepting our partner school nominees and have also nominated our students, we cannot guarantee any of the study abroad options without confirmation from both Cornell University and our partner institutions that study abroad options are available.
In the meantime, please pay attention to the applications deadlines provided by the partner school and reach out the International Programs department at law.international@cornell.edu if you have questions and concerns.
We will provide updates on this page as they become available.

Visiting Scholars
UPDATED 04/15/21
In light of the current public health restrictions, the Law School has temporarily modified its usual Visiting Scholar and Visiting Researcher program in order to comply with the University’s guidelines for access to campus by visitors, which remain in effect until affirmatively rescinded. Under the current guidelines, scholars/researchers will only be able to engage with the faculty mentor and the Law School community and its resources remotely.
We don’t think this will change our ability to enrich your academic research. However, if you feel differently, the situation is always changing and we can let you know when other options become available. We advise that visitors wishing to come in person delay their request until later when the situation is likely to be more clear.
