The Career Development Office is led by dedicated public interest advocate Dean Akua Akyea, Associate Dean for Career Development. Public sector opportunities encompass: government entities, nonprofit organizations, public defenders, and prosecutorial offices.

Public Sector career advising includes counseling services for students and alumni interested in working in the public interest, whether as a full-time career or as part of a thriving legal career. Whether you are a student seeking a summer job, pro bono opportunity, externship during the academic year, or post-graduation position, our office can help.

The Office of Career Development is open year-round to advise students and alumni in developing their application materials, preparing for interviews, and assisting with networking.
