Carl Rizzi ’16 | Director of Judicial Clerkships | book an appointment
Carl Rizzi joined Cornell Law School as Director of Judicial Clerkships in January 2021. Prior to working at Cornell, he clerked for the Honorable Raymond W. Gruender on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and the Honorable Paul A. Crotty on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, and he spent three years as a litigation associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP in New York. He earned his B.A. from Manhattan College in 2010 and his J.D. from Cornell Law School in 2016. During law school, Carl was an Articles Editor for the Cornell Law Review, an Executive Bench Editor for the Moot Court Board, and a leader in several other student organizations, and he interned at the Institute for Justice in Minneapolis and the New York State Attorney General’s Office in Syracuse.
Jasmine Harper | Career Development Program Assistant
Jasmine Harper received her undergraduate degree from Northern Kentucky University for Business Administration in 2018, and her Master of Legal Studies from the University of Arizona in 2022. Jasmine serves as the Program Assistant to the Career Development office. Specifically, she works with the director of Clerkships, in order to help students gain meaningful connections and different opportunities. She helps to coordinate the annual Moot Court competitions (Cuccia, Rossi and Langfan), with the Moot Court Chancellor and Board.
