The AALS serves as a conduit between law schools and candidates seeking positions in law schools: it provides candidate information to law schools and notifies candidates of law school position openings. In addition, the Association sponsors an annual two-day Faculty Recruitment Conference at which the law schools can interview candidates. NALP (The National Association for Law Placement) is an association of over 2,500 legal career professionals who advise law students, lawyers, law offices, and law schools in North America and beyond.
