Raised just outside Cleveland, Ohio, Morgan enlisted in the Air Force right out of high school and served eight years as an air traffic controller, earning a B.S. in Aeronautical Science and Homeland Security from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University while on active duty. She separated from the Air Force in 2025 to begin law school at Cornell. This summer, she is clerking in the Department of Justice's Civil Division, in the Aviation, Space & Admiralty Litigation Office (Washington, D.C.), representing the FAA, DoD, and NASA in wrongful-death and federal tort litigation arising from aircraft and spacecraft accidents. Morgan intends to build a public-interest career advancing safety standards in commercial air and space travel.

Born in Seoul, South Korea, Gordon began his military journey as an enlisted intelligence analyst before commissioning as an infantry officer out of the University of Utah. Throughout his service, he completed assignments with the 19th Special Forces Group, Special Operations Command Europe, and the 11th Airborne Division, as well as an overseas deployment to Iraq. For the summer of 2026, Gordon is based in Manhattan, working with the New York State Office of the Attorney General. When he isn’t hitting the books at the law school, you can find Gordon playing soccer in the community or out on the rivers fly fishing.

Originally from Eagle River, Alaska, Will commissioned into the Vermont Army National Guard in 2017 after graduating from the University of Wyoming. An Infantry officer, Will has served in numerous positions in 3-172 IN (MTN) and the Army Mountain Warfare School, including deploying as a Platoon Leader in support of Operation Spartan Shield. He received a master’s degree from Boston College in 2024. At Cornell Law, Will is spending the summer working with the Veterans Law Practicum, and will spend next summer at the Silicon Valley office of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan.

Travis Moore is from Huntington, West Virginia. He spent four years in the U.S. Navy directly after high school. He was stationed in Washington D.C. and worked in intelligence. His undergrad is Georgetown University where he majored in U.S. history and minored in English and in theology. Travis is interested in labor law, criminal law, and tort law.

A native of Warrenton, VA, Shane enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2017 as an infantryman. He served as a mortar section leader with Second Battalion, Third Marine Regiment, where he graduated from the Advanced Mortarman Course at Camp Pendleton, CA and was qualified as a Joint Fires Observer. In 2020 -21, Shane served as a rifle team leader with the Marine security element assigned to Special Operations Task Force 511.2. Following his military service, Shane matriculated at Harvard College where he graduated with an A.B. in Anthropology in 2025. At Harvard, Shane received multiple awards and recognitions including the Obama-Chesky Scholarship for Public Service, The Kenneth I. Juster Fellowship, the Fisher Prize for excellence in Geographic Information Systems, and the Gilman Scholarship. Shane's honors thesis consisted of fieldwork in Iraqi Kurdistan and analysis of declassified satellite imagery to identify settlements razed during the 1987-88 prelude to the Anfal Campaign. At Cornell Law, Shane is the Veterans Law Practicum Liaison and Vice President of the Tax Law Association. He was named a 2026 Tax Analysts Summer Fellow by the ABA Section of Taxation and will spend the summer representing low-income taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service.

Upstate NY native, born and raised on an alpaca farm. Joined the Calvary because he was promised that he could ride his alpacas into battle. This was a lie. Went to become a professional baker after leaving the military, lured away by the promise of making alpaca shaped pastries. This was also a lie. Finally decided to attend law school, they said they had alpacas you could pet for stress relief during finals. There were no alpacas, only llamas.

Hugo Duque is a rising second-year student at Cornell Law School with a diverse background in science, management, and government. Before attending law school, he served in the Louisiana Army National Guard, focusing on all-source intelligence, and gained practical legal experience as an Executive Judicial Assistant at the New Orleans Juvenile Court. He expanded his academic pursuits as a Research Assistant at the prestigious INSEAD business school in the Organizational Behavioral Department. He holds a B.S. in Integrative Biology and an M.S. in Management Studies from Boston University. Currently, he is working as a student-attorney at the Tenant Advocacy Clinic, directly representing clients in eviction trials and settlement negotiations. Moving forward, Hugo plans to use this advocacy experience and scientific background to pursue a career in New York City, specializing in Patent Law and life sciences transactional law.

Al is a Chicago native and Air Force veteran. Prior to law school, he was a Special Situations Credit Trader at Santander Capital and an Emerging Markets Distressed Credit Trader at Citigroup, where he specialized in Emerging Markets corporate and quasi-sovereign debt. He obtained his B.A. in Political Science from Columbia University following his enlistment from 2009 to 2013, with deployments to the Kyrgyz Republic and Mazar-e-Sharif, Afghanistan supporting 10th Mountain.
